TKActions v7.1 Panels for Adobe Photoshop

The TK7 panel is the newest release of the comprehensive panel for making luminosity masks and running Photoshop. It includes all the features of the previous V6 panel plus many new ones. Like its predecessor, the TK7 panel is modular, so users can configure it in whatever manner works best in their workspace. The Combo module even has two different arrangements to allow a new compact layout if that’s desired. (Sean Bagshaw has a video at the bottom of this page that shows how to do this.) TK panels are used worldwide and come pre-programmed with six common languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Chinese. Users can choose the language they prefer.

The RapidMask module uses the unique Rapid Mask engine to quickly generate entire spectrums of luminosity masks and other pixel-based masks at near real time speeds. The mask-based interface calculates 16-bit masks and users see these up front to make intelligent choices about which one to use. The interface is organized with a top-to-bottom workflow that makes creating masks quick and easy. Numbered sections guide users through the process. There are several modification options including a mask calculator that allows all masks, even modified masks, to be combined in unique ways. The video below provides an overview of all the overall layout of the panel and the newest features.

The TK7 panel is designed exclusively for Photoshop CC to take advantage of the HTML5 architecture that Photoshop CC can accommodate. Below are some of the features of each module.

RapidMask
Multiple masks/multiple sources−The TK7 panel is much more than just a luminosity mask panel. Channel, color, saturation, and vibrance masks are created just as easily as luminosity masks, and entire spectrums of these pixel-based, self-feathering masks can be generated. The SOURCE menus makes it easy to choose different pixel data as the starting point for making masks

Organized workflow−Four distinct sections−SOURCE, MASK, MODIFY, and OUTPUT−that guide users through the mask-making process.

New masks−TK7 now has Color Zone masks and CMYK masks.

Add and subtract masks with ease−The mask calculator provides an easy way to add, subtract, or intersect any mask created by the panel.

More MODIFY options-New modify functions allow precision masks through painting, burning, dodging, and even Photoshop’s Camera Raw filter.

Numerous output options−Easily create adjustment layers and pixel layers with the current Rapid Mask as a layer mask.

Layer Mask mode−Provides an image-based approach to quickly choose or create the best mask by having the mask applied directly as a layer mask on the active layer.

Accent color interface−Only one accent color for the entire module that users can change to whatever they prefer.

Click-tracking−Buttons retain an accent-colored shadow after clicking so users can track which mask they last chose.

Compact design−Combines Photoshop control, web-sharpening, and creative actions into one module.

Run Photoshop from the module−Many common Photoshop functions, keyboard shortcuts, and menu items can be run with a single button click from the module.

Multi-function buttons−Several buttons have dual functions that are graphically displayed on the button itself or can be activated with the CTRL/command key.

During import, not only are the keywords included in the image identified and automatically added to the tag, but tags added by the user can also be very easily applied. For tagging, simply drag the tag to an image or vice versa. This way of adding new tags or searching for tags provides a fresh approach in accessing them. Beware to not become overwhelmed by the incredible new tagging interface – the ability to apply numerous tags simultaneously to numerous images.

Enhanced Web Capture
Pixave’s web capturing capabilities have evolved. Now, the website that you wish to capture can be captured while interchanging freely between desktop and mobile modes. Or just go wild with the bezier function and make your lines look like gooey ink. All this is possible. Now.

New Position Smoothing Method
The new position algorithm compares your cursor position to its prior one. Drag the slider a bit to remove small noise – drag it all to the right to draw straight lines. This smoothing method is very suitable for painters hence it can be very subtile and fast at the same time. It also catches up to your ‘line-ending’ position.

Pressure Smoothing / Buffer
Pressure Smoothing works like the new Position Smoothing Method and is suitable for casual sketching/drawing and painting.

The Pressure Buffer works like a stack of values: beginning with 0 it starts collecting data and creates an average on a given buffer size. It is very useful for building up the line smoothly and keeping it steady – while crosshatching for example. The cooling-off-time can be pretty long – depending on your buffer size.

Tilt and Rotation Smoothing
Tilt and Rotation Smoothing works also like the new Position Smoothing Method.

  • Be honest, how many times have you searched for, “Facebook cover image size 2020” already this year? To save you some time, this release includes social media Artboard presets for a whole range of platforms.
  • Instead of only being able to click on the disclosure arrows to open and close Library tabs in the Components popover, you can now click on the whole Library name.
  • Layers and Components with truncated names will now show you a tooltip with their full name when you hover over them in the Layer List and Components Panel/Popover.
  • When you select Other… from the Location menu when you save a document, we now show you the standard macOS save panel, making it easier to do things like picking an existing file to overwrite.
  • You can now press Cmd + R in the dialog that appears to overwrite an existing document, which performs the same action as clicking on the Replace button.

What’s fixed

  • Fixes a bug where right-clicking in the Recents view of the Documents window would not show the option to clear the view.
  • Fixes a bug where closing an unsaved document’s window and saving it to Cloud would unexpectedly create a local copy of that document as well.
