A Mac-native statistics and data-analysis app that turns spreadsheet imports into histograms, correlation views, and regression models as you click — no command line, no scripting language, and no steep learning curve before the first insight.

Wizard 2 is built around tabular data. Drop in a CSV, Excel workbook, Numbers file, JSON export, Access database, or FileMaker Pro archive and the app immediately summarizes variables with charts and runs relevant statistical tests. The Raw Data view supports sorting, filtering, keyboard navigation, copy/paste, and find-and-replace; the Pivot module builds count and descriptive-statistics tables; and the Summary interface drills into one- or two-column analyses with p-values explained through textbook-style illustrations. For broader overviews, the Correlate module scrolls through hundreds of histograms, scatterplots, and survival curves at once.

Modeling and Mac workflow

When you need prediction rather than description, Wizard handles logistic regression, survival analysis, choice modeling, and other multivariate workflows through a visual Predict module that can show several response curves together. Sliders and pop-up controls let you define hypothetical scenarios and export models as interactive Excel spreadsheets or PDF graphics for colleagues who do not use statistics software. A Safari Share extension can pull HTML tables from web pages — useful for quickly checking Wikipedia or report tables before opening a full document.

Wizard 2 is free to download from the Mac App Store with a 21-day trial, then requires a subscription: Standard (about $19.99 for three months or $49.99 per year) covers spreadsheet, text, database, web, and JSON imports plus all model types; Pro (about $129.99 per year) adds R, SAS, SPSS, and Stata file import, SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL connectors, and command export for professional research stacks. The app requires macOS 10.15 or later, runs natively on Apple Silicon and Intel, and version 2.0.20 (October 27, 2025) improves compatibility with macOS 26 Tahoe.
