Effortlessly build disk images with your own beautiful design. Simply drag and drop your files, design your disk image’s appearance using the rich visual editor, and click “Build” to easily and quickly create a fully assembled disk image ready to ship. Each time you release a new version of your disk image, simply click “Build” again, or automate it as part of your own build process using the built-in command-line tool.

WYSIWYG Design
Making disk images shouldn’t be hard. With DMG Canvas, simply give your disk image a background image, drag and drop files onto the window view, and click Build. What you see in DMG Canvas is exactly how it will look in Finder.

Easy Backgrounds
Using the Background layout view, you can create great backgrounds for your disk images right inside DMG Canvas itself. Just drop in images, add customized text, and you’re done in a snap.

Localized Licenses
Do you need your disk image to prompt a license agreement when mounted? Not a problem. Don’t spend hours trying to figure it out yourself; Just put your license’s text into DMG Canvas and you’re done. It even supports styles and multiple languages.

Create Retina-Ready Designs

Code Signing
Ensure your customers and macOS itself know that the disk image is safe and secure with code signing. Gatekeeper in macOS Sierra enables extra security features if your disk image is not code signed, potentially breaking behaviors in your application. Using DMG Canvas, code signing is as easy as a single click.

Notarization
Starting in macOS Catalina, a new security feature called Notarization requires new application to be notarized by Apple to ensure they are not infected with malware. To help with this, DMG Canvas can easily notarize the disk image and its contents. (Notarization requires that Xcode be installed.)

Dark Mode
When using the “None/Default” background choice for the disk image Window, the window’s appearance will change depending on the user’s system appearance setting. In Dark Mode, the window background will be a dark-gray and file names will be displayed with a white color. If the window background choice is set to an image, gradient, or color, then the file names will always appear in black.

Web Archives is a browser extension for Safari that enables you to find archived and cached versions of web pages, and comes with support for more than 10 search engines, such as the Wayback Machine, Archive․is, Google, Bing, Yandex, Baidu and Yahoo.

Web Archives is an open source project made possible thanks to a community of awesome supporters. By purchasing the extension on the Mac App Store, you help support the continued development of the extension.

The extension enables you to search for archived and cached versions of web pages from the context menu and the browser toolbar with the help of a diverse set of search engines, which can be toggled and reordered from the extension’s options. You may choose to allow the extension to run on every website, or grant access to the current website before a search. When you grant access only to the current website, access must also be granted to each search engine in order to view search results.

PRO TIP: search for a link without visiting the web page by right-clicking on the link and searching from the context menu.

A handful of search modes are offered that serve different use cases. The search mode can be set independently for the context menu and the browser toolbar from the extension’s options.

Search modes:

  • Tab: search for the web page opened in the active tab. This is the default search mode.
  • URL: search for a custom page URL.
