WG DAW Converter

WG DAW Converter 3.2.19 for Mac — Cross-DAW SessionsA cross-DAW session converter from WGProductions that reads project files directly—without requiring the source application installed—and rebuilds them for the DAW you actually use, preserving arrangement data instead of handing back a folder of loose WAVs.

The problem it targets is familiar in post and music production: a client sends a Pro Tools session, but your room runs Cubase; a collaborator works in Ableton while you mix in Logic. WG DAW Converter parses the session file itself and exports to AAF, OMF, native project formats, DAWproject, or aligned per-track WAVs and MP3. Supported inputs include Pro Tools (.ptx/.ptf/.pts), Studio One 7 (.song), Ableton 12 (.als), Cubase .cpr (every generation back to Cubase VST), Nuendo .npr (1.x through 15), FL Studio (.flp), REAPER (.rpp), Logic Pro 10/11/12 (.logicx), Audition (.sesx), plus OMF and AAF interchange files.

What survives the jump

According to the developer, exports can carry track names, clip positions, fader levels, pan, mute, track colours, markers, tempo and time-signature maps, and MIDI—not just audio stems. Volume automation is supported; other automation lanes are still being expanded. Target format matters: DAWproject into Cubase 14+ can retain buses, sends, channel EQ, and matching VST3 insert states where byte-verified templates exist; REAPER .rpp and Ableton .als carry native inserts; AAF and native Cubase .cpr (beta) trade depth for broader compatibility. Version 3 added Pro Tools export via AAF, drag-and-drop of finished exports into your DAW on Windows, and rescue of vintage Cubase VST and Nuendo 1.x projects dating to roughly 1999.

Workflow, licensing, and build 3.2.19

Simple view is drop-convert-done; Advanced view exposes per-track controls, sample-rate and bit-depth overrides, export targets, recent jobs, and a live log. You can preview sessions in-app or bounce a flat unmixed MP3 reference. The Mac build requires macOS 11 or later, runs as a universal Intel and Apple Silicon binary, and ships signed and notarized. Licensing is a one-time purchase ($49 introductory, $99 regular per the vendor) with five free trial conversions, offline activation, three computers, and free lifetime auto-updates. Build 3.2.19 is a maintenance release in the v3 line; WGProductions does not publish a dedicated web changelog for individual point builds—check the in-app updater for release notes after installing.
