Organization and listening tools

Pins keep chosen albums or artists at the top of lists. Favorites filter playback to tracks you mark as best. Auto Skip hides songs you never want to hear again without deleting files. Journal replaces simple star ratings with dated notes so you can track how your opinion of an album changes over time. Undoable shuffle, save-queue-as-playlist, and AirPlay round out daily listening on the desktop.

Radiccio Server and Plus

Version 1.4 added Radiccio Server: enable it in settings and your Mac folders become an OpenSubsonic server for iPhone and other compatible apps on the LAN, with Tailscale or similar VPN for access away from home. The free tier includes one On My Mac source, Apple Music integration, Finder playback, and no time limit. Radiccio Plus unlocks unlimited local sources, Plex/Jellyfin/Navidrome/OpenSubsonic clients, and the built-in server through a subscription or optional one-time purchase per the product page.

Licensing and fit

Radiccio is Mac-only on the App Store; Apple Music content still requires a separate Apple subscription. Feature availability varies by source type according to the vendor guide. If you live entirely inside Spotify or Apple Music streaming with no local files or home server, a native streaming client may be simpler.
