A Mac utility that registers as a virtual printer so you can save PDFs from any app that supports Print, without uploading documents to a cloud converter.

macOS can save some content as PDF from the print dialog, but a dedicated virtual printer adds consistency across Mail attachments, Office and iWork files, browsers, photos, and other apps. Print to PDF Pro from Flyingbee runs as a menu bar service: launch it once, add Print to PDF Pro under System Settings → Printers & Scanners, then choose that printer whenever you need a PDF. Conversion happens on your Mac; the vendor states files never leave the machine and no internet connection is required for printing.

Workflow and organization

The Pro edition unlocks the full feature set according to the App Store listing. Generated PDFs can open automatically after each print job, and the app can sort output into folders by source type—email, web pages, and other categories. You can share the printer on a home or office network so other Macs on the LAN send jobs to the same virtual device. The menu bar icon keeps the service running after you close the main window; quit from the printer menu when you want to stop it entirely.

Compatibility and setup

Flyingbee targets macOS 10.13 or later, with version 6.7.x builds adding support for recent macOS releases including the 27.x line per vendor release notes. Custom paper sizes follow standard macOS printer settings, though some apps such as Pages limit custom dimensions. Flyingbee also publishes a shared printer driver package for its virtual printer line if System Settings does not detect the device automatically.

Print to PDF Pro is sold on the Mac App Store as a paid app from Flyingbee Software. A lighter Print to PDF edition exists separately if you do not need Pro features. Built-in macOS PDF output or free tools like Cups-PDF may suffice for occasional saves; Print to PDF Pro suits users who want a persistent network-visible printer, automatic filing, and Flyingbee’s support channel.
