Palindrome is a granular morph plotting sampler geared toward experimental sound design. The basic concept behind Palindrome is to fuse four granular samplers with a coordinate plotting grid and complex modulation sources in order to facilitate the creation of morphing sound effects and unusual instrument patches.

The plugin’s main grid section facilitates the creation of custom paths that determine the trajectory of a playhead over time. This playhead travels across a user-definable path that corresponds with the outputs of the samplers which are smoothly morphed using a bilinear interpolation algorithm. Cisdem DuplicateFinder is a light and user-oriented Mac OS application that provides the required tools and features to find and remove duplicate files from your hard disks.

Simple and intuitive duplicate finder that helps you clean up your Mac in a snap

Cisdem Duplicate Finder comes with a simple and intuitive interface that enables you to quickly select the folders you want to scan for duplicate items. The app also provides support for drag and drop actions.

Note that the Cisdem Duplicate Finder scanning process can be easily customized via the Settings panel: you can choose to ignore packages or files that have a particular extension, or to manually provide the size range for the duplicate files.

The same area enables you to decide if you want to move the deleted files to the trash or to a folder of your choice, or you want to have them removed permanently from the start. In addition, you get to select the scanning method you want to apply: by file content or by file name.

Within the Cisdem Duplicate Finder Results panel, the duplicate files are organized into multiple tabs, depending on their type: Documents, Images, Music, Videos, Archives, Package, and Other. The app also includes a simple search tool, and offers you the option to further sort the list by file size and type, name, or file count.

When you switch to the Overview mode,  Cisdem Duplicate Finder generates an animated graphic that helps you visualize the space distribution: each file type gets to be represented using a different color label, and you can see the overall storage space occupied by every category.

Preview images and reveal duplicates in the Finder

From each set of duplicate files, you can choose to select the ones you want to delete, or you can decide to hide certain items. Furthermore, you can reveal the selected file in your Finder and, if it is a supported image format, you also can preview the thumbnail directly from within Cisdem Duplicate Finder.

Although Cisdem Duplicate Finder is easy to use and provides multiple sorting options, it does not provide its users with the possibility to automatically mark for deletion multiple duplicates based on various criteria, such as creation date or file size, audio quality and other related information.

You do get to select all the files and delete them at the same time, but if you have multiple duplicates for the same file and you need to decide which document you want to keep, you might find Cisdem Duplicate Finder to be useful if you have to deal with a small number of duplicate files since you have to go through the entire list and verify each selection.

Bottom line, if you need to remove duplicate files from large folders with hundreds or thousands of files based on user defined criteria, you might want to look for alternative solutions better suited to deal with the task.

TextBar is a small but very useful macOS utility that enables you to either place custom text content in your status bar or to run scripts that provide relevant information. The app comes with a limited number of predefined scripts, but you get to easily add new ones to the list.

Run different commands that will display data in your status bar

Upon launch, TextBar places several new menulets in your status bar, and you get to quickly copy the displayed information to your clipboard. To customize the app, open the Preferences window and toggle the visibility of these menulets, or adjust their behaviour.

TextBar allows you to adjust the refresh rate and can send notification messages when a modification is registered. What’s more, you get to change the default status bar icon associated with each script: TextBar comes with an extensive collection of beautiful icons from icons8.com.

Install using patch:

Attention! Before installing, disconnect from the Internet

  2. Run the Install installer and follow the instructions (located in the Extra folder)
  3. After installation, do not run the program in trial mode (close the application forcibly if it starts up on its own)

Expiring Virtual Machines

For workers assigned to short-term projects, temporary employees, or for a software evaluation, create restricted virtual machines that expire at a predefined date and time. When powered on, the virtual machine will query the server at specified time intervals, storing the current system time in the restricted virtual machine’s policy file as the last trusted timestamp. An expired virtual machine will automatically suspend and will not restart without administrator intervention.

What’s New in VMware Fusion Pro 11.5.0 Build 14634996

This release of VMware Fusion is a free upgrade for all VMware Fusion 11 users. This release provides the following:

  • Dark Mode: Fusion changes to a dark theme when Dark mode is enabled on your Mac. When Dark Mode Synchronization is enabled, the Light mode/Dark mode settings on the host system is synchronized automatically to the guest operating system.
  • Sidecar support: You can use iPad as a second display for your virtual machine. For more information about macOS Sidecar, see Apple.
  • Jumbo frame support: Virtual networks can now be configured with MTU size of up to 9194 bytes (Fusion Pro only).
  • PVSCI device support: PVSCSI adapter is now officially supported by Fusion, which enhances the compatibility for virtual machine migration between Fusion and vSphere.
  • Open VM Tools is the default VMware Tools for applicable Linux virtual machine: For more information, see Fusion 11.5 product documentation.
  • Performance improvements, bug fixes and security updates.

  • CVE-2019-5527 (use-after-free )
  • CVE-2019-5535 (denial-of-service)
