Version 3.0: This long-awaited release debuts many exciting new features and improvements including: a new integrated user interface, custom metadata, reminders, and new automation options that are even accessible to non-programmers.
We have extended the capabilities of our already powerful search engine with search prefixes, like tags: and name:, to allow constructing more focused searches. Working with annotations and navigating PDFs is now easier and more efficient. A new OCR engine transforms scans into searchable PDFs faster and more accurate, the rewritten web interface supports teams with user and access permission management, and the new Sorter makes it easier than ever to add new data to DEVONthink. PDFs and images can also be imprinted with custom data, including Bates numbering. And if privacy is your concern: encrypted databases keep your data securely locked away from prying eyes.
In addition to the wealth of new features, DEVONthink has maintained and improved the core technologies you’ve relied on in previous versions. To make it easier to get started with DEVONthink, we have also thoroughly revised and rewritten the documentation, providing a handy and quickly accessible reference.

Lifespan is intended to address the ever increasing use and reliance on flash-based storage. If you require the most out of your solid state drives or other flash-based storage devices, you can benefit from knowing how much useful life is remaining on those drives. Flash-based storage devices have a finite life, and when they exceed this lifespan, their performance can begin to degrade, or they can stop working entirely. It can be extremely valuable to be aware of the available life remaining, particularly in scenarios where these devices are used vigorously.
Most flash-based storage devices store your data on non-volatile NAND solid state memory. Each cell of this flash memory can only be ‘programmed and erased’ a limited number of times. Drives can have fewer than 2,000 or over 10,000 of these program erase cycles or p/e cycles, depending on the type and quality of the NAND chips used. For a middle of the road solid state drive, this translates into about 100 TB of useful life, but this can vary greatly in either direction. Regardless, for every flash-based storage device, there will come a point when no more data can be stored, and the device will fail.
Lifespan is a macOS Menu Bar application which is designed to monitor the remaining useful life for flash-based storage devices. It will display the remaining useful life for your solid state drive (SSD), and we hope to support CompactFlash and CFast devices soon. The Lifespan menu will display current life usage and will alert you when the device is below the threshold of useful life remaining. Armed with this knowledge, these flash-based storage devices can be retired before the risk of losing data becomes likely.

It is virtually identical to Perfectly Clear Complete except in two ways. It removes controls for all of the Beautify technology. These adjustments are helpful for portrait and wedding photographers, but not really useful to landscape and travel folks. It removed the batch export module from Lightroom.
While both of the above are useful, they are designed for pros who need the most time-saving options for processing portraits. If you do need portrait adjustments, you can easily add the Kristina Sherk preset packs or a new forthcoming one from Matthew Jordan Smith.
You can also create your own presets and exchange your favorite settings with other users. This is a great deal if you want the time-saving features as well as advanced technology to unlock perfect exposure and sharper images.

It’s a tool to extend your knowledge, and it doesn’t matter what it is you want to learn – medicine, law, history, driving, aviation, fine art, music, or martial arts – from simple day-to-day tidbits, to knowledge of life changing importance. Studies is an app to help you achieve your learning goals.
Features
Study Notes – Studies allows you to turn the information you need to learn into study notes, similar to traditional flashcards, but much more powerful. Notes can include as many sides as you like, each of which can contain text, images, audio, and even video. You can create your own, or download shared sets from Quizlet.com.
Due for Study – Studies includes scientifically-based learning schedules designed to make the time you spend studying as efficient as possible. Set a schedule based on your goals, from long-term learning to cramming for an exam, and Studies will automatically make notes due for study each day.
Study Sessions – Once you have a set of notes prepared, you can study them in beautifully presented study sessions, which make studying less of a chore. Grade yourself as you go, and studies will ensure the ones you don’t know very well will reappear more often in future sessions.
Statistics – Everything you study is tracked by Studies. This information is used to schedule notes for future study, but also to provide statistics and predictions on how well you know the material. You can not only see how many notes you graded right or wrong, but you also have access to estimates of how long you will remember what you are studying.
Selective Sync with iCloud – Many of us now carry multiple Apple devices, and having your data silo-ed on one device is a drag. Studies includes iCloud sync using the latest CloudKit technology from Apple. Add notes on your desktop Mac, and they will appear on your iPhone or iPad when you come to study them later. Even your study sessions are synced, so you can start on one device, and finish on another. You can even choose what you want to sync.
Sharing – Studies has a multitude of different file formats to share your study notes with others. You can export an archive that can be imported into Studies (or Mental Case) on another device. You can also import and export standard text formats like CSV and TSV, which are supported by many flashcard web sites.
Mental Case Migration – Studies is the next generation of the app Mental Case. If you have been using Mental Case on your Mac or iOS device, you can migrate all of your data, including the study history and scheduling, to Studies when you first launch. You should even find your data takes up much less space in Studies than it did in Mental Case.

The fastest way to manage your Mac’s windows in Mission Control, with keyboard navigation, shortcuts and more. Mission Control Plus aims to make this age-old feature even more helpful by allowing you to do more with your windows while Mission Control is active. Using hotkeys, you can navigate, close, minimize, hide and open these windows effortlessly.
MKV2MP4 is an application that can convert video files in the MKV container format to more compatible MP4 video files. MKV2MP4 can convert most common MKV files very quickly, and has a queue for converting hundreds of files at once. MKV2MP4 can be configured to either produce files with perfect compatibility (at the expense of conversion speed) or to do conversion extremely quickly by producing files that are playable on most, but not all players (see F.A.Q.). Because MKV2MP4 doesn’t re-encode the video track, conversion is fast and the resulting video has the exact same high video-quality as the source file. Note that most subtitles are supported (see F.A.Q.) but some players do not display them.
