Parallax | Frequency Orbiting Station Parallax is a unique effect that is part vocoder and part echo/reverb matrix. It can create subtle, modulating filter effects that swell and transform through beautiful, algorithmic spaces. Default Folder X attaches a toolbar to the right side of the Open and Save dialogs in any OS X-native application. The toolbar gives you fast access to various folders and commands. You just click on the buttons to go to your favorite and recently used folders, manage the folders and files shown in the list, and make changes to your settings. It also fixes a number of problems in Open and Save dialogs, “rebounding” to the last selected file, putting the path listing back in the top menu, and correcting bugs in scrolling column views.

Another new hidden option removes the “Forget Recent Folders”, “Forget Recent Files” and “Forget Recent Finder Windows” menu items so you don’t accidentally erase your history by choosing the wrong menu item. Hold down the Option key while selecting the Preferences menu to get to it.
Bug fixes:
Corrected a problem with Default Folder X’s menus being sorted incorrectly for sub-folders that contained a large number of items.

One of the most powerful features of 010 Editor is the ability to parse virtually any binary file using a Binary Template. Instead of browsing through a long range of hex bytes as with traditional hex editors, Binary Templates allow a file to be understood. Templates are easy to write and can be used to completely parse any data format, such as BMP or ZIP files (Templates for reading these files are included with 010 Editor).
A Binary Template looks similar to a C/C++ structure, but is actually run as a program. Every time a variable is declared in a Template, that variable is mapped to a set of hex bytes in a file. Data in the file can then be read or written by modifying the variable. Because the Template is run as a program, if, for, or while statements as well as functions or complex expressions can be used. When a Template is run, the defined variables can be edited using the Template Results, as shown on the left. On macOS Catalina, Keep It will now create thumbnails for web links.
