Posterino is a handy and user-friendly macOS application that enables casual users to create elegant photo collages of various sizes.

To get started you first need to select the template you like from Posterino’s collection, adjust the size of the collage and choose the preferred orientation.

Helps you to quickly and effortlessly create and share photo collages

The top toolbar helps you switch between the Preview and Layout mode, insert images, postage stamps, text and calendars, randomly fill the layout with pictures, shuffle the loaded images and export or share your work.

To manually add pictures in the empty frames you just have to drag and drop the selected image onto the desired pocket. The Layout mode enables you to apply various image filters, change the frame, adjust the paper size, background color and template layout.

Additional image and page adjustments can be made with the help of Posterino’s Inspector floating panel that makes ti easy to change the properties of the selected graphical element or picture. Hence, you can adjust the applied photo filter, add or remove shadows, insert new elements and make the desired changes.

Overview

DropDMG is the easiest way to create macOS disk images, as well as cross-platform archives. Just drag and drop a folder or file and you’re done. Or, you can drag an existing disk image or archive onto DropDMG to convert it to any of the other supported formats or to burn it to CD or DVD.

Disk images pack entire folders or disks into a single compressed file, either for transport across the Internet or simply for backup. They are the only archive format whose contents you can directly access in the Finder, without the potentially slow and disk-consuming step of expanding the files into a folder.

DropDMG supports advanced options such as encrypted and segmented disk images, Retina-optimized background pictures and custom volume icons, and rich-text license agreements in multiple languages. There are many time-saving features such as configurations to keep track of your favorite combinations of settings. It can also be automated via AppleScript, the command-line, and Automator.

– Create and convert disk images and archives with a simple drag and drop. There are also many other convenient ways to invoke DropDMG.

– DropDMG supports all the major formats, including compressed .dmg files, .sparsebundle files, .zip and .tar.gz archives, and hybrid disk images.

– Create .dmg disk images that are signed for Gatekeeper and macOS 10.12.

Backups, Archival, and Cloning:

– Save disk space and network transfer time by compressing your files. Choose faster or more efficient compression.

– Split large files or folders into multiple segments to burn them to optical discs or easily transfer them over a network.

– Verify the integrity of your backups and archives to ensure that the media is still intact and that you’ll be able to restore them if needed.

– Create a device image that records the exact contents of a data CD or DVD. You can then burn bootable backup copies of the disc, or double-click the disk image to access its contents as though the disc were still in your optical drive.

– In one step, create a device image clone of an entire hard drive, optimized for restoring using Apple Software Restore or Disk Utility.

Encryption:

– Encrypt files that you want to keep private. DropDMG’s encrypted, writable disk images are faster and safer than Apple’s FileVault, but just as secure and searchable via Spotlight.

– Create encrypted, compressed disk images to securely transfer files via e-mail, Dropbox, or FTP or to store backups safely off-site.

– Choose from 128-bit and 256-bit AES encryption, approved by the U.S. National Security Agency.

– Optionally store your passphrases in the macOS keychain, so that you can quickly create and access encrypted disk images, without the hassle of double-typing or the risk of typos.

– Mount disk images at specific locations in the filesystem, so that your applications can keep their support files encrypted.

– Mount encrypted, segmented disk images without having to enter the passphrase separately for each segment.

Advanced:

– Runs multiple operations simultaneously, so you that you can keep working while DropDMG processes in the background.

– Takes advantage of multiple processor cores for faster compression and encryption.

– Keeps a detailed log of all the successful operations as well as any errors, including statistics such as the throughput and how much space was saved using compression. New log entries are also reported via Growl.

– Get detailed information about your disk images: their formats, partitions, compression ratios, checksums, etc.

– Easily queue up bulk operations for creating, converting, mounting, verifying, getting info, burning, joining, etc. If multiple encrypted disk images share a passphrase, you only need to enter it once.

– Process the names of the output files to add the current date or make the filename server-friendly.

Adobe XD CC (formerly known as Adobe Experience Design CC) aims to provide full support to UX designers that are trying to improve the way in which users interact with their product. The app allows you to develop both websites and mobile apps and helps you test the outcome and generate prototypes.

UX design tool that can help you develop projects for specific devices

Right off the bat, Adobe XD CC makes you decide if you want to develop projects for iPhone, iPad or web. In addition, you can opt for custom size boards. However, within the designer area, you can add artboards of various sizes.

The Adobe XD CC user interface is separated in two main tabs: one that allows you to deal with the design aspect of your project, and the other to help you configure the associated prototype.

Adobe XD CC permits you to test the outcome in a separate window, and you get to both interact with and record the activity and share the capture with your client or other team members.

Manage your design projects with intuitive drag and drop movements

Within the Adobe XD CC canvas area, you get to add new elements with the help of basic vector drawing tools, combine them any way you like, import images with simple drag and drop actions, create wireframes, and so on.

The same rules apply when adding interactions and animations to your project in the prototype area. Just establish connections between your artboards using the mouse, and employ the contextual menu to manage the animations.

Worth mentioning is that, since the Adobe XD CC project is still under heavy development, some of the editing functions one would expect are not yet included, but working with the application is quite intuitive.

Share your project's prototype via the Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe XD CC allows you to export your project's design to a PNG image file, or you can record your interaction with the prototype to an MOV video file.

Nevertheless, you can also use your Creative Cloud account to share the prototypes directly with your team. Just use the Share command to generate a public URL and preview the prototype in a web browser.

Underline text:
  • You can now quickly apply an underline to text with a keyboard shortcut or a button in the property inspector. Underline maintains fidelity with characters that have descenders such as y and g.

Digital cameras produce raw format images that need to be processed and converted to an editable file format before making any adjustments. Adobe Camera RAW is an Adobe Photoshop plug-in that enables you to access raw image formats generated by a wide collection of digital cameras, without having to use third party converters.

The plug-in is able to work with raw files created by Canon, Kodak, Konica Minolta, Olympus, Ricoh, Samsung, Leaf, Leica, Panasonic, Sigma, Sony, Casio, Mamiya, Nikon, Pentax, Contax, Phase One, DJI, Epson, Fujifilm, Hasselblad, or Nokia digital cameras.

Raw format converter integrated into your Adobe Photoshop app

The Adobe Camera RAW installer will take care of the plug-in assimilation process, so you will be able to access its capabilities without having to leave the Adobe Photoshop application, although in a separate window.

Publish raw images to Adobe Stock

In the previous release of Bridge CC 2015 version 6.3.1, a new feature was introduced that allows you to easily upload your JPEG photos to Adobe Stock using the new Publish panel. In this release of Bridge CC 2017, this feature has been extended to support uploading of raw images to Adobe Stock from within Bridge.

Now when you drag a raw image from the Content panel onto the Publish panel, Bridge displays a dialog to confirm the conversion of raw image to JPEG for upload. Once you confirm, Bridge converts the raw image to JPEG using the Camera Raw plug-in. The uploaded JPEG image (converted from the raw image) appears on the Uploads page in the Adobe Stock Contributor portal.

Search Adobe Stock

In addition to searching for assets in Bridge or on your computer, you can also use the Quick Search box (on the right side of the Application bar) to search for high-quality Adobe Stock illustrations, vectors, and photos. When you search, the results appear on the Adobe Stock website in your default web browser.

To switch your search between Adobe Stock search and Windows (Win)/Spotlight (Mac) search options, use the drop-down list in the Quick Search box.
