In using the app, there will be about 2 to 3 seconds of latency. So this mirroring is not suitable for gaming.
However, it is very suitable for watching movies, giving presentations, watching photos, and much more!
The quality of your experience will be dependent on the quality of your local network. Some tips to enhance the experience:
Preferably, connect your TV by LAN cable to your router.
Use an “ac” router. If you don’t have one, then an “n” router.
Try not to overload your wifi network by moving big files around while you are mirroring.
How the app works: First, make sure that your LG TV is on the same local network and same subnet as your Mac. The TV should not be in screen mirroring mode, but just on “TV” Mode or any HDMI IN port.
After launching the app, you will see the app icon appearing in the top bar of your Mac and the app will look for your TV on the network. It will show your TV when it has found it. Now, you have two options:
Mirror your Mac Screen: Use this option to put the screen of your Mac on TV. In source, you can select which screen (or attached monitor) you want to display on TV. If you are running multiple applications on your Mac, you can also select which application window you want to see on TV.
Enable Sound: check this to hear the sound of your Mac coming from the TV. You will need the additional (free) audio driver, which you can download here: http://bit.ly/MirrorAudio
Play Video File: Use this option if you have a video file on your Mac and you want to play just the file on TV. Drop it in the box and it will play on TV.

Limitations: Apple has HDCP DRM protection for playing iTunes movies. This means that screen mirroring is not possible when watching movies from iTunes.

Default Folder X attaches a toolbar to the right side of the Open and Save dialogs in any OS X-native application. The toolbar gives you fast access to various folders and commands. Morph Age (was Morph Age Express) is an application for morphing faces and warping images on macOS. It works by allowing you to define curves on one or more images and changes based on those curves are reflected in the resulting image through the corresponding distortion and morphing effect.
Features
Definitely Mac – Morph Age is 100% Mac software from the start. You can import various image formats from almost any source, including direct access to your iPhoto media. You can even use your iSight camera directly from within Morph Age to import pictures. The rendered animation is in QuickTime format, enabling further composition in Final Cut Pro, iMovie, or even export it to your iOS devices!
Controlling the morphing animation – Morph Age can animate warp curves independently, so that different parts of the image move at different times (the eyes, then the ears, then the mouth…). Also, animation effects are available, such as springy motion. Morph Age shows the result in real time, so that you can quickly and easily prototype the transformation.
Non-linear transformations – In Morph Age, not only shapes and curves can be animated at will in a fully controlled way but also blended. Blending allows you to control what amount, or percentage, of the first image that you want to combine with the second one.

Layers – Layers in Morph Age is a way to highlight the changes in one part of the image over others. This allows you to morph specific parts of the image over the background, giving your transitions and morphing a more realistic look.
Real-time Rendering – Morph Age uses advanced GPU rendering techniques, allowing real-time preview even for large images. Click Play, and you see the morph/warp in real-time, whatever the image size. PatterNodes is a tool for creating graphical patterns, animations, gradients, or illustrations based on repetitions. This is done by defining a sequence of steps, a recipe of sorts, that describes the pattern. Each pattern element or operation is represented by a little panel called a node, and the nodes are then linked by connections drawn between them. As the nodes can be freely combined and connected, this gives you a very flexible and powerful interface.
While this interface requires a different way of thinking, it also offers a lot of benefits compared to traditional Illustrator-type editors. Most importantly it enables you to use sliders to instantly change any aspect, like color, spacing, scaling, rotation or repetition count of any part of the pattern without having to undo/redo any steps. You can also specify animation value ranges for any of these parameters.
The resulting pattern tile is always shown in the bottom preview view, repeated and updating in real time with any changes, giving you instant feedback of what the end result will be. To make pattern creation easier PatterNodes also includes a lot of nodes that automatically perform common tedious tasks like repeating elements at the tile edges to make the pattern seamless, or randomizing different aspects (like color, position, rotation, etc.) of the elements in a pattern to give it a little more life. Finally, when you’re done you can simply copy the pattern tile into whatever illustration or graphics application you use, or export it either as vector graphics or a bitmap image file. Animations can be exported as GIF, QuickTime MOV or numbered PNG or JPG files
