Channel 1

Channel 2
Offers a more British-inspired ‘plexi’ crunch with a present midrange.

Channel 3
This is high-gain territory. This channel has a juicy, gnarly character with a tight low end and unique clarity.
The amp is a fully featured, extremely accurate model of the physical amp, with a simplified interface to help you dial in the tones efficiently.
The power amp tubes can be switched per channel between 6L6 and EL34 — a feature unavailable on the physical MLC S_Zero 100 amp.

VANILLA SKY
The MLC S_Zero 100 plugin includes two different overdrive pedals for further tonal options.
The MLC Vanilla Sky is a transparent overdrive built around a Class A circuit that retains the guitar’s character even with the highest gain settings.

OVD-1
The Fascination Street OVD-1 is based on Jens Bogren’s personal overdrive pedal. It adds a classic midrange presence and and gets a lot of use on the guitar tracks that producer Jens Bogren records at Fascination Street Studios.

ULTIMATE CONTROL
The speaker cabinet makes up about 80% of the entire guitar sound. So it’s no surprise that the flexible tone monster that is the MLC S_Zero 100 plugin comes with plenty of options for getting the cab sound just right.
But don’t worry if you’d rather get straight to playing your guitar — just use one of the many expertly made presets that are included.

ENDLESS COMBINATIONS
The cabinet section includes two cabinet slots and a Speaker Mix slider that lets you blend the cabs.
Two different cabinets are included, Vintage and Modern, each with five classic microphone models that can be positioned and angled freely.
The two cabs have been carefully selected and set up by Jens Bogren personally, but if you want more options, you can load any impulse response into the two speaker slots.

Version 2 introduces the novel dynamic noise profiles that help reducing noise that varies randomly over time, such as wind noise or rustle from lavalier microphones. Where the earlier versions merely captured a static noise print with time-constant noise levels, the dynamic noise profiles capture statistics from the noise to be reduced. The noise suppression algorithm then estimates the most suitable noise threshold curve for the noisy input signal using the measured statistics.

DeHum targets hum and buzz typically introduced by poorly grounded electrical equipment, but also other tonal noise sources like electrical motor noise. The hum detection algorithm has been improved in version 2 and there’s now a new Scan button that automatically fine tunes the fundamental hum frequency.

Version 2 introduced support for Mid/Side (M/S) processing, which can reduce unwanted fluctuations in the stereo image. A new automatic fine-tune button triggers automatic estimation of the hum noise frequency.

DeClick is designed to remove impulsive noise such as clicks, crackle and thumps. These distortions are frequently encountered on LP and 78 RPM records, but also occur in digital recordings due to drop-outs or distorted data packets. DeClick 2’s thump reduction works also effectively on vocal recordings with unwanted plosives. The algorithm has been improved in version 2 and is now less prone to reducing attacks and transients in the wanted signal.

When it comes to reverb, it’s all about the sound quality. Verberate is an algorithmic reverb plug-in that simulates real acoustical surroundings with exceptional realism. The first Verberate version already raised the bar. Version 2 introduces the Vivid Hall algorithm that adds time variance to avoid the stiffness that plagues convolution based reverbs while preserving the natural high density reverb tails of Verberate 1.

Real acoustical surroundings will have slight variations due to air currents, moving performers or movements in the audience. While these variations may seem subtle, the effect towards the end of the reverb tail is significant, since the sound is reflected a large number of times before the reverb tail fades out. The new Vivid Hall algorithm models these random variations without artifacts like chorus effects or pitch changes, and is therefore capable of simulating reverberation of real halls with a higher degree of realism.

Overview

It has four unison oscillators which use an "innovate" synthesis technique that allows the generation of many simultaneous high-quality waveforms in realtime, using only minimal amounts of CPU resources. It also features two "analog sounding" filter sections, which can be taken way past the point of self-oscillation. These filters incorporate several non-linear saturation stages to produce harmonically rich sounds. Sylenth1's extensive modulation options offer possibilities to sculpture the sound, and it has a set of six built-in mastering sound-effects.

Features:
* 4 band-limited unison oscillators in full stereo, each of which can generate 8 voices per note. This allows a total of 32 simultaneous voices for every note played, producing rich and complex sounds.
* 2 "analog-sounding" 4-stage stereo filters per note. Each filter contains 5 independent non-linear saturation functions. The filters support selectable low-pass, band-pass and high-pass modes with 12dB or 24dB attenuation.
* 16 Notes of polyphony, which adds up to a total of 512 simultaneous oscillator voices and 32 filters in realtime.
* 4 ADSR envelope generators per note, which allow sharp attack and release.
* 2 Low Frequency Oscillators with 11 different waveforms each.
* 16 Modulation slots with 24 different selectable modulation parameters each.
* Easy to use built-in master effects section consisting of an arpeggiator and 7 sound effects: distortion, phaser, chorus, equalizer, delay, reverb and compression.
* Arpeggiator with built-in step sequencer, 10 different melodic modes, adjustable pitch, velocity and hold settings. Outputs Step Velocity as a modulation source.
* 4-Stage stereo chorus, with 2x oversampling, adjustable delay time, depth, rate and feedback for flanging effects.
* Five different types of distortion in full stereo, with 4x oversampling to minimize aliasing artifacts.
* Equalizer with bass and treble adjustment by frequency and amplification.
* 6-Stage stereo phaser, with 2x oversampling, an embedded LFO, feedback and frequency spread adjustment.
* Delay module with low- and high-pass filters, unique echo smearing function, ping-pong mode with stereo spreading, independent left and right delay time and adjustable stereo width.
* Smooth reverb with adjustable pre-delay, damp, size and stereo width.
* Stereo compressor with attack, release, threshold and ratio settings.
* Heavily optimized code using high-performance SSE processor instructions.
* Easy to use user-interface.
* Fully controllable by MIDI. Knobs can be simply assigned to MIDI CCs using the MIDI learn function.
* Sync mode for syncing LFO and delay parameters to host tempo.
* 2 Modes of portamento sliding, which will slide both velocity and pitch parameters in polyphonic or monophonic mode.
