Overview

A straightforward but versatile plugin for Adobe Illustrator that allows users to fold up die-cuts and preview and export 3D models

Origami is a powerful yet easy-to-use Adobe Illustrator plug-in that allows for easy fold up die-cuts.

With the help of Origami, you will be able to put your die-cut layout to a separate “origami” layer, set cut lines to be solid, folds to be dashed and then setup angles for folds and mark the bottom part. That’s it.

You will then be able to export the 3D model of your layout or the image for further processing.

Moreover, Origami also features a dead-simple user interface that will make the 3D preview and save actions extremely easy.

What’s more, Origami is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X and Windows.

What’s new in Origami 2.6

  • Adobe has just released their new Illustrator CC 2018, so here’s the new Origami, as well.
