Pipa is a singing vocal synth with a unique and different sound. It is inspired by the expression and flexibility of the human voice, but does not aim to cover all the aspects of an actual voice. Instead, it focuses on an organic and musical sound where the user has the possibility to control formants and dynamics seamlessly.

The synth engine is a crossover between a wavetable- and a granulating synthesizer, which results in a very expressive and playable instrument. Instead of using ordinary samples or processing oscillators with formant filters, Pipa uses a large database of thousands of wavetables extracted from real vocal samples. The advantage of the technique being used is that it’s possible to seamlessly morph between wavetables with proper phase alignment. This enables Pipa to continuously make transitions between pitch, formants and dynamics, which is very useful in a musical context.

The Classic Rock EZX comes with two kits as well as several additional instruments and extras derived from the Legacy of Rock SDX, an expansion for Superior Drummer 3 recorded by legendary engineer/producer Eddie Kramer at AIR Studios in London, UK.

Heavily inspired by Eddie Kramer’s work with primarily Led Zeppelin, all aspects of this EZX were designed to provide the ultimate source for instant classic rock gold – the choice of drum kits, the presets and the MIDI. This EZX simply bursts loud, reverberant rock from the onset and out. ‘The Amber Kit,’ which represents a reproduction of the acrylic kit that John Bonham used during the now-historic “The Song Remains the Same” recordings in 1976, has a truly unique, open-sounding and blaring tone. To contrast, ‘The Sparkle Kit,’ also a homage to a setup frequently used by Bonham in several classic sessions, presents a more traditional tonal palette while still offering that mandatory, deafening rock sound. In other words, two perfect kits for classic rock – engineered to perfection by the man who helped shape its very essence.

Even though rock may shift, change and take on new paths, one thing is perfectly certain: the drums remain the same – big, obnoxious and loud. Skaka is a sample-based sequencer plugin for shaker percussion instruments. It has 12 slots, each with its own instrument, parameters (lots of them!) and pattern. We’ve built both the sequencer and the sampler from the ground, to optimize this instrument for these types of sounds. Each pattern contains events, with individual parameters like pitch, velocity (as in how fast the instrument is shaken), and envelope.

With full control over shuffle/swing amount, an advanced humanizer function, internal awareness of in- and out shakes (yes, they sound different), using grids divided into triplets/quintuplets/septuplets, timing fine-tuning and variable sequence lengths, Skaka can get very close to how a human percussionist would sound in almost any tempo without any use of degrading time stretching or similar techniques.

To top it off, there’s a nice reverb, a room simulator and a high shelf filter.

Skaka comes with nearly 200 ready-made patterns covering most genres and styles.

Almost all products are fully keygened this time. The binary is not touched
at all so AAX works as it is in the legit ProTools (if the product has AAX).

apulSoft apUnmask is an audio plugin to amplify components of the audio that are psychoacoustically masked by other components.

To achieve this, apUnmask uses parts of the detector algorithm of the opus high-quality audio compression codec. Signal components that would get removed by compression are extracted. These can normally not be heard as they are masked by louder components in time and frequency. apUnmask enables amplifying and sculpting the masked content and adding it to the music.

To shape the frequencies of the extracted signal, it is fed through a linear phase graphical equalizer. It features a bezier curve smoothed frequency response without overshoot.

The result is a form of hyperrealistic audio. The process helps the listener to hear more aspects of the music at the same time. apUnmask can be used as a mastering effect or as an intelligent exciter for single instruments

Normally lossy audio compression just removes things. Decades of research have lead to clever algorithms to detect what can be taken away without the listener noticing – all to save on data size. Using apUnmask you can now use this research power to your benefit, extract and amplify those signals and help the listener’s ears to hear more.

SUGGESTED WORKFLOW
Insert apUnmask on the master track or an individual track to be enhanced.
Adjust the master gain until a reasonable amount of delta signal is visible.
Toggle the delta listen button to hear the “ghostly” sound what would be removed by the opus codec. This is what normally lives in the shadows of your music.
Experiment with the resolution knob to find the most interesting components.
Tweak the eq curve to extract and boost the good stuff.
Turn off delta listen and enjoy the result.

SampleX brings you accurately modeled vintage sampler emulation. Dial-in the sample rate, bit rate, aliasing, input drive and filter settings to sound like any sampler, or design your own! Multiple sampler emulation presets already included.

In today’s advanced age of music tools that seek the “cleanest”, most “perfect” sounds, there has suddenly been a desire for the “Gritty” sounds of the machines of the past.

Once such quest has been the acquisition of old, primitive samplers and sample drum machines like the EMU SP1200, AKAI s900/950, and others. This has increased the rate of these machines to 10s of thousands of dollars.

The sound that producers and artists seek in these boxes is usually the low bit rates and sample rates resulting in an “aliased” sound or “artifacts” as we now call them. These limitations of the vintage machines have now become very desired and sought after sound. Just sample rate reduction and “Bit crushers” have yet to actually sound like old machines.

Our team at Beatskillz went on a quest to study the actual circuitry and found each and every step right from the A/D converters, preamps, analog and digital filters and processes involved to recreate each stage and bring you a plugin that can not only emulate a sampler but many, and also lets you design your own sampler or vintage chip!

The Sample Rate Interpolation system that we have built in DSP, lets you dial in any sample rate from 96 kHz to 2 kHz. You can also ” type ” in the values!

We have also done a very accurate emulation of a well-known Ladder Filter with Resonance, this gets you the “Warm” Filter sound of a very desired analog synth. We have also carefully emulated the input drive of the S900 to give you all the parameters needed for multiple variations of the sound!

Spinn is a four-band rotating modulation effect. It has similarities to, but doesn’t aim to replicate, a Leslie speaker (call it a spin-off if you like). Vintage devices and more
Godfazer’s Ensemble section offers a wide range of delay- and amplitude-modulating vintage device emulations, including BBD-based choruses, Solina-style ensembles and rotary speakers, as well as a variety of original tremolos, auto-panners and other models. ResonHeart is the physical modeling simulation of a never seen before, experimental, aerophone-based acoustic instrument.

Characterized by a complex modal-based architecture, this original machine has expressly been built to mimic the sound of different families of acoustic instruments – like winds, membranes, chromatic percussions, ethnic lutes and whistles, glasses, cymbals and crashes, vocal ensembles and choirs, or even an entire orchestral strings section – as well as to produce very unconventional, organic tones, evolving textures and expressive motion pads.

Working on the principles of fluid dynamics and designed to potentially be a real-world replicable machine, every single component inside ResonHeart has been modeled after existing hardware – commercially available devices like air pumps, pneumatic valves and metal resonators. Also the surrounding room acoustics has been carefully modeled, simulating a wide range of spatial environments, from small chambers to big concert halls, to stone-walled cathedrals and beyond.

Moreover, ResonHeart features a clean and intuitive interface, making the sound designing process just simple and effective.

It has many new features that take the audio engine of our freebie Krush to another level.

KrushPro includes our acknowledged bit-crusher processor, as well as a new ‘Wavecrushing’ distortion module, built upon an innovative wavesets processing algorithm. New timbral possibilities are also brought by the addition of a dual frequency shifter/ring modulator fx module and two input/output filters sections.

Many modulations options have been added, and KrushPro is the first plugin with full stereo modulations capabilities. All the modulators are stereo, and every modulation slot has a stereo balance knob. Being able to modulate the parameters differently on the left and right channels brings something new to the table, and allow the creation of unheard stereo effects!
