Receipts aims to help you manage and organize incoming invoices in an efficient manner: you get to import the documents, and the utility will try to detect the amount automatically, convert it to the reference currency, and sort it by provider or category.

Bring all your invoices under the same roof and organize them into libraries

Right off the bat, Receipts generates a library database and prompts you to give it a name and specify the output location. Note that Receipts comes with a library manager that helps you switch between archives with minimal effort.

The next step is to start importing invoices: you can load files individually, or allow Receipts to add all the documents included in a particular folder.

For your convenience, Receipts comes with monitoring capabilities, and can automatically import new files from a watched directory. However, you will still have to review each new import manually.

Quickly view the amount of each invoice and keep them sorted by provider or category

Receipts offers you the possibility to define invoice providers and groups and each time you import a new document you get to assign them to any of the entries. As a result, you can effortlessly keep track of the receipts related to an individual project, to a particular company, and so on.

When importing, Receipts offers you the option to assign a date to the document, set the invoice amount and tax, and also store text notes. To streamline the process, Receipts tries to extract this information from the document, but you can also manually adjust the values before confirming the import.

Receipts can also automatically convert the invoice amount to the reference currency, generate reports, and deal with user defined VAT rates.

Invoices management solution that can deal with images, PDFs, or email data

To sum up, Receipts proposes a well-organized space where you can quickly import invoice reports, such as image files, PDF documents, or emails, and sort the entries by different criteria.

Nonetheless, the Receipts project is sill in an early stage, so some of the functions might not work as expected. During our tests, we were not able to generate graphs or rename the provider and categories items included by default.

AirPods are great, but they don’t work quite as smoothly with Macs as they do iPhones. You can’t tell at a glance whether audio will play from the AirPods or your Mac’s built-in speaker, you have to dig into a Bluetooth submenu to connect, and then you have to go back to the menu to see when the AirPods are ready for use. ToothFairy streamlines this: just click an icon in the menu bar (or press a hotkey) to switch to the AirPods, and the icon always shows whether they’re connected.

  • Works with AirPods, as well as any Bluetooth headphones, speakers, or headset that you can connect to your Mac.
  • Click the hollow AirPods icon in the menu bar to switch to AirPods. It fills in to show they are connected and also displays a battery indicator.
  • Supports multiple Bluetooth audio devices; you can choose a different icon and hotkey for each.
  • Get the best audio quality. macOS will normally use the SCO codec if it thinks you’re going to use the microphone. ToothFairy can ensure that it uses the higher quality AAC codec when you only care about audio output: listening to music or video or playing a game.
  • Disconnect a Bluetooth device by clicking the icon (or pressing the hotkey) again, so that you can switch back to your phone. You can obtain a correction that were not available in previous SILKYPIX series by designating separate areas in scenes with much overexposure or underexposure, or when light sources give off two or more different colors in the same image.
  • Completely new sharpness from superior outline detection (Natural sharp) – Generally, when sharpness is set strong, there is one side effect that the noise is emphasized in blurry outlines or out-of-focus part of the blur. A completely new focus plane and logic for detecting out-of-focus part have been developed for SILKYPIX Developer Studio Pro7 so that you can apply strong sharpness only on the focus point.
  • L-Tone Curve for vivid high-key expressions – By correcting brightness of the tone curve with the RGB Tone Curve, colors can be reproduced with a white tinge. This is due to colors connecting to brightness during RGB processing. You can maintain colors even when changing brightness with the “L Tone Curve” installed in SILKYPIX Developer Studio Pro7’s tone curve. “L” refers to “Luminance,” and it is possible to adjust only luminance information with the L curve. Therefore, even with high-key finishing, the subject’s tones and vividness remain. This is a convenient function for subjects who appreciate soft expressions such as in portraits.
  • Image Rating Compatibility – Some of photographers may have with a rating (typically a star mark) at the selection to OK cut to the camera side of the operation on the LCD monitor during shooting. SILKYPIX allows for linking and reflecting this “Rating” set on the camera. In addition, you can also edit the “Rating” on SILKYPIX Developer Studio Pro7.

KINETIC TYPOGRAPHY OPTIONS

There are five categories of titles: Basic Titles, Continuous Titles, Timing Control Titles, Stackable Titles and Specialty Titles. Version 2.0 has all the main original titles plus a ton more to give your animated text arsenal a fresh boost!

BASIC TITLES


In the Basic Title category you will find a collection of titles that have very basic animations with either one or two word titles. These are easy to use and can be used in a wide variety of circumstances.


CONTINUOUS TITLES


Continuous titles are also a collection of simple kinetic typography titles. The difference with these is that they can be strung together as many times as you wish and can be made to look seamless. This allows you to add as many words to a string of kinetic titles as you wish for a long or short flowing kinetic typography sentence. Pay attention to the drop-down menu to assign it as the beginning text, middle, or ending animation.


TIMING CONTROL TITLES


Timing Control Titles are a unique set of titles that allow you to type a sentence of up to 8 words and you can control the timing when each word will appear. Ave them appear one right after the other, mixed up, or time them along with a voiceover for a more organic feel as someone speaks.


STACKABLE TITLES


Stackable Titles are an incredibly useful set of titles because at the point of where you stack one over the next, the title below it gets animated out right before the next one appears. These titles are also useful in controlling the timing of the next text that appears. Stack the same animation one over the other for a seamless flow, or even mix and match stackable titles!


SPECIALTY TITLES


The Multi-word titles come in very useful when you want to make a more complex, animation heavy sentence. Everything (of course) is pre keyed and all you have to do is choose each word and add in your own text….saving you literally hours on end of time.


ANIMATION OPTIONS


There are animation options inside each title depending on which one you use. Some come with a drop down menu that actually allows you to change the way the text comes in and out. Others you can choose to turn on or off the out animation while Timing Control titles don’t include an out animation and you can choose to use one from the section called “6: Animations”.


EASY TO USE IN FCPX


Kinetic Text is easy to use inside Final Cut Pro X. Simply browse the various titles in the Titles browser, choose one you like, place it on your timeline, then add your own text to each word place holder.


EXTRAS AND ANIMATIONS


Kinetic Text comes with some great extras. A section called “Animations” allows you several options to add an animation layer at the ending of a Kinetic Text title if you choose a different animation or to add to those titles that either allow you an out animation option or don’t include an out animation. Next you have instructions for the various types of titles. Finally you have a gradient and solid background that you can easily place under any title.
