Note that the Cisdem Duplicate Finder scanning process can be easily customized via the Settings panel: you can choose to ignore packages or files that have a particular extension, or to manually provide the size range for the duplicate files.

The same area enables you to decide if you want to move the deleted files to the trash or to a folder of your choice, or you want to have them removed permanently from the start. In addition, you get to select the scanning method you want to apply: by file content or by file name.

Within the Cisdem Duplicate Finder Results panel, the duplicate files are organized into multiple tabs, depending on their type: Documents, Images, Music, Videos, Archives, Package, and Other. The app also includes a simple search tool, and offers you the option to further sort the list by file size and type, name, or file count.

When you switch to the Overview mode,  Cisdem Duplicate Finder generates an animated graphic that helps you visualize the space distribution: each file type gets to be represented using a different color label, and you can see the overall storage space occupied by every category.

Preview images and reveal duplicates in the Finder

From each set of duplicate files, you can choose to select the ones you want to delete, or you can decide to hide certain items. Furthermore, you can reveal the selected file in your Finder and, if it is a supported image format, you also can preview the thumbnail directly from within Cisdem Duplicate Finder.

Although Cisdem Duplicate Finder is easy to use and provides multiple sorting options, it does not provide its users with the possibility to automatically mark for deletion multiple duplicates based on various criteria, such as creation date or file size, audio quality and other related information.

You do get to select all the files and delete them at the same time, but if you have multiple duplicates for the same file and you need to decide which document you want to keep, you might find Cisdem Duplicate Finder to be useful if you have to deal with a small number of duplicate files since you have to go through the entire list and verify each selection.

Bottom line, if you need to remove duplicate files from large folders with hundreds or thousands of files based on user defined criteria, you might want to look for alternative solutions better suited to deal with the task.

WebScraper offers you the possibility to quickly extract content from an online source with minimal effort. You have full control over the data that will be exported to the CSV or JSON files.

Quickly scan any website by using multiple threads

Within the WebScraper main window you must specify the URL address of the webpage you want to scan, and the number of threads that are to be used to complete the procedure. You get to adjust the latter parameter with the help of a simple slider bar.

To avoid any unnecessary scanning, you can choose to crawl only a single page, and then start the process with a simple mouse click. In the Live View window, you get to see the status message returned by each link, which might prove useful when dealing with debugging tasks.

Extract various types of information and export the data to CSV or JSON

In the WebScraper Output panel, you get to choose the type of information you want the utility to extract from a web page: the URL, the title, the description, content associated with a different class or ID, the headings, the page content in various formats (plain text, HTML or Markdown) and the last modified date.

  • Fixes bug in engine relating to the ‘output filter’ (only scraping data from pages containing or not containing X)
  • Slight change to the way that ‘ignore urls containing’ under scan works. It wasn’t ignoring these ulrs completely, but ‘not following’. Practically this probably makes little difference but the operation more accurately matches the wording now, and may make the scan more efficient.
  • too much information was being sent to the console in recent version(s), this is tidied up a bit.

Quickly scan any website by using multiple threads

Within the WebScraper main window you must specify the URL address of the webpage you want to scan, and the number of threads that are to be used to complete the procedure. You get to adjust the latter parameter with the help of a simple slider bar.

To avoid any unnecessary scanning, you can choose to crawl only a single page, and then start the process with a simple mouse click. In the Live View window, you get to see the status message returned by each link, which might prove useful when dealing with debugging tasks.

Overview

While there are a lot of applications or web services that can help you download videos from YouTube, many have trouble extracting high-definition clips over 720p in resolution. Ummy Video Downloader does not suffer from this limitation, as it allows you to save any YouTube clip on your Mac of resolutions up to 4320p, as well as rip audio tracks and save them as MP3 files. All in all, though, this is a useful tool that can help you download high-definition YouTube videos or convert them to MP3 audio files in just a few simple steps.

Financial Reporting    A full double-entry accounting package that not only maintains the accounts, but also performs financial reports such as:    * Profit and Loss (accrual or cash basis)  * Balance Sheet   * Cash Flow  * Trial Balance   * VAT return (cash, standard or flat rate)   * Customer and Supplier Aged Debt   * Monthly breakdown and budget analysis   * Transaction List  * Audit   ...and more!    All reports can be exported from the app by email. The output format is HTML or CSV which can be imported into other applications such as Excel.       Customer Invoicing    Invoices and delivery notes are generated in PDF format. Send these by email direct to your customer, print them or send them to other apps such as Dropbox. Set the company logo, addresses, payment terms and so on to customise the invoice for your business. Once purchased, the DRAFT watermark is removed for every invoice you send. You can also prepare your customer statements in PDF format as well.    Transactions can split over many lines if you require, so for example, if you raise a sales invoice for a customer, you can add a separate line for each item on the invoice.       Value Added Tax    Add any number of sales and purchase VAT accounts, each with a specific rate. Easy Books automatically calculates the amounts for you.      Foreign Currencies    Enter amounts in a foreign currency and Easy Books will keep track of any realised and unrealised gains due to exchange rate variations over time.      Time Tracking    Track time spent working for different customers. Set your billing rates and the app will generate a sales entry for your customer as well as keep a record of all your hours worked and what you were doing. This optional extra comes with 10 entries to try it out. If you don't need it, its easy to turn off completely to keep the user interface clean and simple.       Backup and Restore    Backing up is easy, and the backup file is compatible with the iOS version of Easy Books. But it's better to use our Online Sync service. This provides continuous online backup and synchronises between all devices running the app, Mac to Mac or iPad/iPhone to Mac.
