Pose-based rigging system for After Effects with limitless applications.

Joystick controllers are commonly used in 3D character rigging for facial animation. With this tool, you simply set five consecutive keyframes to represent your origin, right, left, top, and bottom extremes. With those layers selected, you can instantly create a joystick controller on the stage that will interpolate between those extremes appropriately.

For many characters, you may want to have replaceable parts like mouth packs for different angles. Joysticks ‘n Sliders lets you create a Swap Template to help you automate the swapping of those assets according to your joystick’s position.
Sliders are similar in setup to Joysticks. While sliders may feel more technical than joysticks for controlling your animation, they can be much more powerful. Unlike joysticks, there is no limit to how many poses you can create with your layers. Additionally, you can mix them together in any way you wish. This is great for rigging hands, eyes, mouths, or even a set of poses for the entire body of a character. It can even be used for motion graphics and abstract animation.

The Screaming Frog SEO Spider is a small desktop program you can install locally on your PC, Mac, or Linux machine which spiders websites’ links, images, CSS, script, and apps from an SEO perspective. It fetches key onsite elements for SEO, presents them in tabs by type, and allows you to filter for common SEO issues, or slice-and-dice the data how you see fit by exporting into Excel. You can view, analyse, and filter the crawl data as it’s gathered and updated continuously in the program’s user interface.

The Screaming Frog SEO Spider allows you to quickly crawl, analyse, and audit a site from an onsite SEO perspective. It’s particularly good for analysing medium-to-large sites, where manually checking every page would be extremely labour-intensive (or impossible!) and where you can easily miss a redirect, meta refresh, or duplicate page issue.

Slice it Up v2.0 for Adobe After Effects macOS

Slice it Up is a tool that cuts footage into any number of vertically aligned slices by duplicating it N times and applying random width masks to it. Those pieces are brought into one composition later and laid one over another to create undistorted image. Tool provides controls to set random or linear offset to X, Y and Z position for each slice, adjust the expansion and rotation angles for the mask.

One of the most flexible things that Slice It Up provides is the ability to randomise slices in the UI panel at any time. If you don’t like the width of your slices and feel like a change up, just hit the “Random Width” button. If randomised position is not your taste, re-randomise it at any time without loosing your keyframes even after closing and opening the project.

Well known by C4D users, Mograph still remains one of the most powerful and robust procedural cloning and animation module.
AfterEffects users can taste a little bit of its power for free, thanks to the “Fracture” and 2 “Effectors” (Plain and Random) that come with the Cinema 4D Lite version, packed with every AfterEffects CC version. But it is definitely limited and frustrating, since the most interesting tool is still missing : the CLONER !

How many times a motion designer has to duplicate and animate sequentially a bunch, sometimes dozen, of similar graphic shapes in their projects ?

Of course you can animate your designs with keyframes, then duplicate them, sort them with a time offset… but it is time consuming and what if you are asked to change the whole animation later ? Well, you’ll have to redo the entire process, again and again, until your client is really satisfied !

Some existing tools aim at making this process way more efficient and less tedious, but you’ll still end up with a lot of duplicated layers in your timeline, and, who wouldn’t prefer to keep a well organized timeline, just like in Cinema4D, where you can just deploy or close objects hierarchies to keep things tidy up.

Mountain allows you to manage volumes with ease. It allows you to mount, unmount, or eject volumes with only two clicks. Unmount a single volumes or eject all external volumes at once. Unmounted volumes will be spun down and can either be unplugged or reactivated in Mountain without the need to unplug the USB cable and plug it back in

  • Automatically unmount external volumes when the system goes to sleep and remount them on wake up.
  • Remount recent network shares with a single click or remount them automatically on boot up or wake from sleep.
  • Prevent external volumes from being mounted upon connection.
  • Prevent volumes from being ejected.
  • Identify applications that block volumes from being ejected and quit them right away.
  • Get notified whenever a volume becomes available or an external device can be unplugged safely. A click on the notification will open the volume in Finder.

Digital cameras produce raw format images that need to be processed and converted to an editable file format before making any adjustments. Adobe Camera RAW is an Adobe Photoshop plug-in that enables you to access raw image formats generated by a wide collection of digital cameras, without having to use third party converters.

The plug-in is able to work with raw files created by Canon, Kodak, Konica Minolta, Olympus, Ricoh, Samsung, Leaf, Leica, Panasonic, Sigma, Sony, Casio, Mamiya, Nikon, Pentax, Contax, Phase One, DJI, Epson, Fujifilm, Hasselblad, or Nokia digital cameras.

However, keep in mind that only certain camera models are supported, so you should verify on the Adobe website if the files generated by your device can be processed.

Raw format converter integrated into your Adobe Photoshop app

The Adobe Camera RAW installer will take care of the plug-in assimilation process, so you will be able to access its capabilities without having to leave the Adobe Photoshop application, although in a separate window.

Note that you will be able to work directly on the “digital negatives” while keeping the original files intact. The plug-in window allows you to visualize the image, but also includes basic editing tools, enables you to see the image histogram, to adjust the image exposure, and much more.

Personalize the looks of the macOS Dock

cDock is a simple, clean and straightforward macOS application that enables you to install a 2D Dock on your Mac running 10.9 or later. On top of that, cDock helps you personalize the appearance of your Dock with several dock styles included in the app.

With the help of cDock you can make the Dock transparent or install one of the pre-defined dock styles with just a couple of mouse clicks. Within the built-in collection of themes, you’ll find a dark and grey dock, as well as pink or full-screen ones.

Create your own Dock themes and apply them with ease

The best thing about cDock is that it allows you to rapidly and effortlessly create your own custom themes by manually changing the dock settings file according to your needs.

The settings info text file provides the necessary information about the values that you can modify in order to change the look of the Dock and automatically opens when you select the “Install Customizable Dock” option and hit the “Okay” button.

From cDock’s main window, you also have the option to restart the Dock or the Finder and, as mentioned above, to install the colored Finder sidebar. On top of that, you can easily restore the Finder and the Dock to their original looks if necessary.

Go back to the original appearance and quickly restart the Dock

cDock performed well throughout our tests and allowed us to try several different looks until we where happy with the appearance of both our Mac’s Dock and Finder sidebar.

On the whole, cDock is one of those tools that should be provided by Apple but, fortunately, its developer has made it available to fill in the shoes of such a much needed default macOS utility.

Hands Off! is a simple yet powerful Mac app that can help you monitor and manage the internet or disk access for all the applications installed on your computer. This way, you get to protect your privacy and run all sorts of utilities without risking data loss or unauthorized transfers.

Uncomplicated installation procedure and rule setup process

When you launch the Hands Off! application for the first time, the utility runs an assistant that quickly installs all required components, and helps you make simple decisions about the monitoring system.

For your convenience, Hands Off! also places a small menu in your status bar that allows you to quickly disable and enable the access rules, or access the configuration panel. If the Network Monitor function is enabled, the menu also enables you to open that panel (or you can use the Option + Command + G hotkey).

Effortlessly setup network usage and file writing permissions for applications or system processes

Within the Hands Off! Configuration window you can easily create new access rules (allow, deny, ask, hide, or preset) or edit already defined ones. Hands Off! is able to work with specific applications or with system services.

In addition, the Hands Off! utility can also limit the network usage for both incoming and outgoing connections, or the file writing and reading capabilities.

Note that when dealing with network access rules, you have the option to impose limitations only for certain IP addresses, ports or protocols. The same rule applies when dealing with disk access restrictions: you must provide the exact disk area.

Protect yourself by blocking hidden internet connections or any unapproved disk access

On the whole, Hands Off! offers you the possibility to run untrusted applications without worrying about any data leaks: the app is able to limit the incoming and outgoing network access, and can restrict the reading and writing disk permissions.
