Puremagnetik Wade v1.0.1

Meet Wade – a versatile synthesizer with some quirky tones and tape-aged character. Inspired by the “west coast” synthesis school, Wade is built around two complex oscillators — one of them a modulator too — and a lo-pass gate. While Wade doesn’t aim to compete with west coast legends such as Buchla, it has a unique sound that could be compared to everything from a Casiotone to a Mellotron.

Wade has two complex oscillators that can be morphed from saw to triangle. TIMBRE 1 can be a modulator, or it can run in parallel with the TIMBRE 2 oscillator. The CARVE control morphs between parallel voices and ring modulation. Wade also includes a lo-fi reverb with its own special plate sound. At the end of the signal chain is a cassette tape effect and filter bank that makes everything really drifty — with wow and flutter and periodic drop-outs — as if the sound has been baking in hot California the sun.

Omiharp is an electronic strumming instrument inspired by the legendary 1981 Suzuki Omnichord, capable of playing enchanting sounds across a spectrum of timbres.

Going beyond the original Omnichord, Omiharp uses an advanced physically-modeled plucking voice with a series of timbre controls. This voice is then arpeggiated through a tremolo and delay circuit. Puremagnetik has extended this functionality to include various strum and finger picking patterns. You can choose from the classic up and down patterns but also choose up and down, thumb first, “mirror” and random strumming modes.

Omiharp Features:
• A physically-modelled “pluck” sound engine that can emulate anything from harp to acoustic guitar sounds
• An array of tone and timbre sculpting controls
• A built-in strum pattern generator with 5 variations
• Pattern scale selection for 7 popular musical scales

Omiharp Controls Explained:
PLUCK — alters the initial attack timbre of the harp voice, from darker to more brittle and pronounced.

PICK — Slightly alters the sound from fingered to picked.

REFLECT — Controls harp dampening and internal resonance

TREMOLO — Controls tremolo rate and amount. Set to a minimum VALUE for little to no tremolo.

PATTERNS
UP — Plays the scale up one time
DOWN — Plays the scale down one time
UP/DN — Plays the scale up then down one time
1ST-UP – Plays the scale alternating between root and next note upwards
MIRROR — Plays the scale alternating between upward and downward notes, beginning from the lowest and highest notes.
RANDOM — Each key press generates a new random pattern from the scale

SCALE – Choose from Major, Minor, Dom 7th, Major 7th, Min 7th, Diminished and Augmented scales
TONE — Low-pass filter control based on Moog ladder filter
RESO — Low pass filter resonance
DECAY — Amplitude envelope decay for the auto-harp
RATE (Tempo) — Control strum rate based on multiples of host’s quarter note (bpm) value.
RATE (HZ) — Control strum rate manually in cycles per second.
ECHO TIME — Controls rate of delay
REPEATS — Controls feedback of delay

You can use it to manipulate audio into new and unique forms or to craft subtle spaces for your instruments in the mix.

Gales Features:
• Utilizes a comb filter with micro-delay

GALES Controls:
GALE adjusts the amount of comb filtering. It acts as a master control for the amount that the first 5 controls (DREDGE, OFFSET, STASIS & SPLIT) affect the sound.
OFFSET adjusts the feedback matrix and DREDGE adjusts the depth of the filtering.
STASIS lets you adjust how much “drunk walk” randomness is added to OFFSET — creating naturally interpolated modulations.
TAPE adds an analog cassette-style “age” to the audio after the comb filtering. NOISE adds tape loop and mechanical noise.
SPLIT is a unique parameter that separates the left and right channels by a few milliseconds – creating wide space and phase reflections.
SHUFFLE gives slight variations to DREDGE, animating it around its current setting.

Puremagnetik Fog v1.0.1

Fog is a versatile sound design and music tool capable of producing vast shimmering soundscapes, granular textures, and infinite time-stretched drones. With a simple interface, it offers a wealth of supernatural sound possibilities with just a few straightforward adjustments.

Fog employs a basic sampler to record a snippet of incoming audio (up to 11 seconds). The sampled sound then undergoes granular time-stretching and pitch shifting. The audio is then routed through an algorithmic space control that has its own DEPTH and TONE sections. You can dial down the DEPTH to zero to only get the granular effect or you can max it out to craft an endless drone.

Finally the audio is routed through a variable filter with Low-Pass, Band-Pass and High-Pass options. Between the algorithmic space TONE control and FILTER you can sculpt the sound to perfection. Combine that with daw automation of these controls and the drone easily comes to life.

Fog Controls
DURATION – How much of the sampled audio to play (always starts from zero).
STRETCH – Granular time compress/expand.
DEPTH – Amount of algorithmic space.
TONE – Darkness/brightness of algorithmic space.
FILTER – Cutoff frequency for either LPF, BPF or HPF

Goestcopy is an advanced digital delay engine that employs stereo waveshaping and tape-echo time modulation. Its core is a distortion tool paired with a delay. It can add sharpness to your audio or completely transform it into a dreamy wash.

The distortion section includes two individual waveshapers for each channel, allowing for stereo distortion effects. These waveshapers can be used in sync or offset for unique stereo textures.

After the distortion, Goestcopy passes the audio through a series of delay effects. By combining waveshaping and delay modulation, you can achieve detailed sound design that can significantly alter any audio you process.

Goestcopy Controls Explained
EDGES gives you control of a shaping algorithm that can add subtle harmonics or completely slice the tops off of the incoming audio.
SHAPE 1 & SHAPE 2 control two separate waveshapers for distortion textures… in stereo!
ENERGY controls the speed of the delay time modulation — like an old echo tape.
AURA sets the delay modulator wave shape — a variable oscillator that morphs from sawtooth to triangle to ramp waveforms.
GOEST set the depth of the delay modulation — this control is most classic on lower settings but the option to turn it up for more extreme modulations is also available.
SPACE adjusts the timing of the stereo delay line
FADE controls the number of stereo delay line repeats, or feedback of the delay

Hewn is an experimental sound processing tool for uncovering new artifacts and circuit-bending sounds. It is an audio processor that modulates an input signal as if it were being dialed into an FM transmitter. Hewn has an FM modulator and a distortion circuit that will warp, bend and hack anything you throw at it. It works great on drums, guitars and synths and will instantly deteriorate and splay the input signal into new creative directions.

Klamur is an “always on” lookback recorder and loop processor. With the ability to capture your actions from the past 90 seconds and the flexibility to loop and process them, this advanced processor also includes several other compelling features.

Klamur was designed as a versatile sound recording tool with the ability to capture a 90-second audio clip and manipulate it in various ways. This dual-purpose device acts as both an audio scratchpad and sound design tool, offering options such as a looper, glitch recorder, dub delay, and more.

With Klamur, you can easily access and manipulate past recordings, allowing for the exploration of unique sounds and ideas that may have otherwise been difficult to reproduce.

By defining two individual loops from the scratchpad audio, each with the option for modulation, a wealth of sound design possibilities can be unlocked through the use of features such as mixing, delay, and spectral processing.

Klamur Controls Explained
ECHO and SIZE are global controls for both tracks.
WINDOW will select the range of that material to loop.
SHUTTLE is a unique function that modulates WINDOW. This function is designed to give you constantly changing loop points. You can make it very slight or turn it up for intense variations.
SMUDGE is a spectral processor that completely blurs and smears the spectral components of your audio. Turn it up for extreme ambient textures and drones.
For more sound design possibilities, Klamur also includes a delay line that can do anything from infinite slapbacks to spacey dub echoes.
SPLIT allows you to mix between the TRACK 1 and TRACK 2 branches.
Pro tip: Automate this parameter for interleaving phrases of captured audio
WRITING / PAUSED button. By default, Klamur is always on. However, there will be times when you don’t want it to overwrite what you’ve already captured. In this case, you can PAUSE the buffer writing to keep your captured audio around.
ECHO sets the time for the delay line. Turn it to zero for no delay.
SIZE adjusts the feedback of the delay line.
And remember! Klamur will not store your audio after closing your session, so be sure to enable a track to record it from in your host DAW 🙂

Explore Later — a modulation box designed to bring warm modulations to a sunny day. With individual band-pass filters and dynamic modulation, Later takes incoming audio and provides the controls to modulate it on a micro or macro level. The filtered signal is processed through a chain of delayed lines that can be time-modulated for lush time based effects and cosmic sweeps.

Some settings create tape warbles, vibratos and flutters. Other programmings create filtered radio modulations. It can produce temporal glitches, tremolo pulses and dramatic space effects. The name ‘Citrus Crusher’ pays homage to the popular software of that era, Limewire™. A design and development collaboration between MIXLAND and Eric Valentine, it is a process that starts with testing and measuring then, listening and experimenting and tweaking and refining over and over and over for over 6 months. The result is a plugin that unquestionably captures the unique vibe and character of the hardware.

Now we can all enjoy the magic and mojo of the classic UnFairchild sound in plugin form.

The features and controls for the UnFairchild 670M II plugin are the same as the hardware, with a few additions. We added an Output Level Control, Wet/Dry Mix control, and an Overall THD control. The Overall THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) control allows you to increase or decrease the amount of UnFairchild style THD character.”
