With Display Maid you can:

This covers for most situations for which a monitor calibration is needed. Parameters for special requirements can be configured for a 6th button. This makes basICColor display the easiest to use and most professional software of its class. The optional high-end colorimeter basICColor DISCUS offers the precision and stability of a lab-grade instrument for desktop monitor calibration and profiling for the first time ever.

Hardware Calibration
basICColor display 6 calibrates the internal monitor LUTs in suited monitors automatically. This guarantees for the highest precision in luminance, black point, color temperatureand gray balance. If the monitor allows for 3D LUT calibration basICColor display 6 uses ICC-profiles to emulate any gamut and thus allows for color correct viewing even with non-color-managed applications like digital video, web design and even medical viewers.

Monitor Validation
After each calibration basICColor display 6 automatically validates the monitor. This helps avoid measurement erros (due to sleep mode or screen savers).

High End Monitor Calibration and Profiling Software
The new basICColor Control Panel lets you select the different profiles you had built and it will load the respective hardware LUTs without the necessity to launch the program. If required, basICColor display 6 can be started right from the Control Panel. You can set arbitrary times for reminding you of the necessity for validation or re-calibration.

Viewing Light Calibration

Display Maestro gives you full control over attached displays, allowing the usage of all available resolutions and bit depths. This is done by ignoring the operating system setting of hiding potentially unsafe resolutions.

It is ideal for running legacy games which require 256-color mode and do not automatically switch the screen depth for you. Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard removed the ability to set 256 color mode manually using the built-in preferences pane, but the feature is now available here in Display Maestro!

Display Maestro is a small application which can be configured to launch during login, and sits quietly in the menu bar. Upon exit, it will also automatically revert your display back to the resolution chosen before it was launched.

Display Maestro is a simple and small menu bar based OS X app that enables users to fully control the properties of their Mac’s display by enabling them to use all available or hidden resolutions and bit depths.

Easy to install utility that will enable its users to have greater control over their Mac’s resolution options

Like many other Mac applications, the installation procedure for Display Maestro is reduced to a simple drag and drop to the Applications directory.

Once you’ve done that, Display Maestro will instantly and seamlessly integrate itself into the menu bar, giving you the feeling that it’s a default component of OS X itself.
