Fazortan 2 is the new incarnation of Controlable Space Phaser which is part of our SilverLine Collection. No need to say we didnt cut much corners on quality and that robust, yearned by all – analog feel of the sound. Total control over the Phase shifter provides you with adjustability and allows to obtain the desired contour with high precision.

Have you ever wondered where does that unique magical breeze so audible in most of Jean Michael Jarre’s tunes come from. Suprisingly the backbone here isn’t the synth itself but the effect unit coupled with the synthesizer, saying more precisely – analog phaser of which our Fazortan 2 seems to be a fine equivalent. Thanks to the analog modelling technique we were able to implement allpass filters comprising characteristics identical to its analog counterpart based on Operational Transconductance Amplifiers. Now in version 2 we’re even closer to the sound character the original hardware unit brings.

This is our biggest release since early May when we introduced overlays, a new depth mask, gradients, and duotones.

Here’s what is new in Polarr for Mac:
  • New text tools. You can now import custom fonts, add shadows, borders, change perspectives, erase and blend with color, radial, gradient, depth and brush masks.
  • New border tools. We added a border tool that automatically suggests border colors based on the color of your photo. You can also adjust border size and aspect ratio.
  • New fringing tool. You can now add more type of blurs, colors, as well as controlling the radius and center point of the fringing tool.
  • New 8 point perspective distortion tool with auto clipping. Now pro members can use this new tool to create free distortion in their image.
  • Edgeaware brush for pro members, now brushing automatically turns on edge aware to help you make more precise brush adjustment.
  • Mesh preview for liquify tools, you can now preview the distortion mesh of the liquify tool.
  • Revamped filter creation dialog, it is now much easier to preview and configure your filters than previously.
  • New color themes and more flexibility to control color themes.

Apple’s Spotlight application is great whenever you want to find specific items stored on your Mac, documents that contain certain terms, word definitions, and much more.

Alfred is a Mac app that is based much on the same workflow, but enables you to extend its capabilities by creating or importing a wide assortment of workflows.

Search bar and app launcher combo, one hotkey away

Alfred comes with a default keyboard combination for toggling its search bar: Option + Space. When the bar becomes active, simply input the keyword, and the app displays the results in list mode.

Also noteworthy is that Alfred automatically assigns a hotkey to each entry in the results area: you get to access specific items solely by using keyboard combinations.

In addition, if you prefix the search term with expressions such as “wiki”, “YouTube”, or “Twitter”, Alfred will perform web searches, and the results will be displayed in your default web browser.

Personalize the contents of the results list

Alfred can be tweaked to match your own needs: via the Preferences window you get to adjust built in features, to import workflows, or to change the overall app appearance by enabling a new interface theme.

Among other things, Alfred includes a clipboard manager, an iTunes mini player, and an 1Password bookmarks manager. Moreover, it can integrate with built in system apps, such as Contacts, Dictionary, Calculator, or the Terminal.

AKVIS Magnifier allows resizing images without loss in quality. Whether creating poster-size images or adding resolution for a better printing quality, the program will make your enlarged image look crisp and clear!

AKVIS Magnifier is an efficient tool for increasing image resolution. If you attempt to blow up a picture (increase its resolution) using the standard Resize command of a photo editor, you will notice that the resulting photo is blurred and pixelated. The reason is that the input photo didn’t contain enough information for the new size. Magnifier will cope with this problem and deliver good results!

Resizing pictures with Magnifier yields a much higher quality than simple bicubic interpolation. Depending on particular needs, the software can be adjusted to produce images that look exactly as required for a given purpose. The program allows enlarging an image to a super-high resolution of up to 300,000 x 300,000 pixels, making a 90 gigapixel poster!

Featuring advanced resizing algorithms, Magnifier enlarges digital pictures to super-high resolution for producing stunning wall-sized prints. The algorithm keeps edges smooth, sharp and clearly defined, while improving image appearance by removing unwanted noise and compression artifacts. AKVIS Magnifier makes it easy for anyone to produce professional-looking photos. It is easily configurable and allows fine-tuning the resulting image. You can apply the program to enlarge images taken from Internet or photos taken with a low-resolution camera, or a post-crop result.

The image processing parameters are grouped in two sections: Downsize and Upsize. The parameters become active accordingly the desired image size. When resizing an image, the program restores edges and details, removes artifacts. The software supports Batch Processing that lets you automatically resize a series of photos. You can apply the program with the same settings to a folder full of images.

AKVIS Magnifier 9.0 offers more flexibility with expanded pixel limit and additional resolution values.
