The subtitle tracks are resolution-independent and rendered in real-time as you watch the movie. Subtitles are always displayed at the best quality your device can perform. There are support for multiple languages in the same movie file and you can even switch language on the fly as you watch. If you already have a movie in a format that suits your needs there’s no reason to re-encode it, just add the subtitles and use File->Save and you’re good to go. If, on the other hand, your movie is not suited for your device you can batch re-encode it straight from within the application. Finally! Pass through HEVC, aka H.265 video. Compatible with iOS 11, tvOS 11 and High Sierra.

Fixed a layout bug in the Audio/Subtitles popover.
Now you can see the channel layout of an audio track in the Audio/Subtitles popover, ie stereo, 5.1 and so on.
Fixed a very hard to find bug that could cause a crash when seeking in the video.
Existing metadata are now loaded properly instead of just searching for new data online.
The HD metadata tag is now calculated differently. If (width/16)*9 >= 720 it’s considered HD.
Content rating metadata now works better between saves.
Screenwriter metadata is fetched in the background if available.
There’s now a TMDb button in the metadata popover if the metadata was fetched from TMDb.
