Organizing tasks and learning to prioritize is the first step towards improving your productivity level: Check Off is a minimalist Mac application that lives in your status bar and enables you to keep a close look on all your assignments.

Unobtrusive app for the status bar with an organized user interface

To avoid cluttering your Dock and to make sure the app can be easily accessed at all times, Check Off places a small icon in your status bar: each time you click on it, the Check Off main window will become instantly visible.

The Check Off main window is separated in two main areas: on top the tasks lists, while in the bottom text area you can write down your observation regarding each activity. Moreover, the top window toolbar includes buttons for all basic functions: New Item, New Folder (you can organize the tasks into different groups), Delete, and Purge.

Helps you organize your tasks using only labels

Each item has a small check box placed on its left side: when you are done with a certain project, check its respective box to remove it form the to-dos list.

The Check Off application provides a limited amount of customization options, so the overall clean and organized effect is preserved at all times. However, you can change the task and folder font, the row height, the window transparency, or the default location for the database file.

Furthermore, Check Off comes with seven labels that can be assigned to your tasks, each of them featuring a different color. Note that you can easily adjust the labels names to match your own needs.
