Personalize the looks of the macOS Dock

cDock is a simple, clean and straightforward macOS application that enables you to install a 2D Dock on your Mac running 10.9 or later. On top of that, cDock helps you personalize the appearance of your Dock with several dock styles included in the app.

With the help of cDock you can make the Dock transparent or install one of the pre-defined dock styles with just a couple of mouse clicks. Within the built-in collection of themes, you’ll find a dark and grey dock, as well as pink or full-screen ones.

Create your own Dock themes and apply them with ease

The best thing about cDock is that it allows you to rapidly and effortlessly create your own custom themes by manually changing the dock settings file according to your needs.

The settings info text file provides the necessary information about the values that you can modify in order to change the look of the Dock and automatically opens when you select the “Install Customizable Dock” option and hit the “Okay” button.

From cDock’s main window, you also have the option to restart the Dock or the Finder and, as mentioned above, to install the colored Finder sidebar. On top of that, you can easily restore the Finder and the Dock to their original looks if necessary.

Go back to the original appearance and quickly restart the Dock

cDock performed well throughout our tests and allowed us to try several different looks until we where happy with the appearance of both our Mac’s Dock and Finder sidebar.

On the whole, cDock is one of those tools that should be provided by Apple but, fortunately, its developer has made it available to fill in the shoes of such a much needed default macOS utility.

This product contains all of the Tone, Color, and Details controls that can give you perfect exposure, great color, and sharp photos with no noise. All of the preset functionality, as well as Creative LOOKs and Corrective Filters, are also unlocked.

It removes controls for all of the Beautify technology. These adjustments are helpful for portrait and wedding photographers, but not really useful to landscape and travel folks.
It removed the batch export module from Lightroom.

While both of the above are useful, they are designed for pros who need the most time-saving options for processing portraits. If you do need portrait adjustments, you can easily add the Kristina Sherk preset packs or a new forthcoming one from Matthew Jordan Smith.

You can also create your own presets and exchange your favorite settings with other users. This is a great deal if you want the time-saving features as well as advanced technology to unlock perfect exposure and sharper images.

Classic yet highly functional design, as well as an intuitive document scanning workflow

All of VueScan’s capabilities, and even the app customization options, can be accessed through its main window, which is separated in two areas: on the right you can preview the scanned image, while the left section is reserved to the tools panels.

To get started with VueScan, simply scan the document you want to process by launching the app and pressing the “Scan” button. VueScan will communicate with your scanner and then will display the captured image in the app’s main window.

Comes with support for popular output image formats and basic image editing tools

Note that you can easily customize the result by making adjustments in the Input panel: you can choose the task you want to perform (Scan to file or Copy to printer), the image source (the scanner or a file), the scanning mode, the media type, and much more. All of VueScan's capabilities, and even the app customization options, can be accessed through its main window, which is separated in two areas: on the right you can preview the scanned image, while the left section is reserved to the tools panels.

To get started with VueScan, simply scan the document you want to process by launching the app and pressing the “Scan” button. VueScan will communicate with your scanner and then will display the captured image in the app’s main window.

Comes with support for popular output image formats and basic image editing tools

Note that you can easily customize the result by making adjustments in the Input panel: you can choose the task you want to perform (Scan to file or Copy to printer), the image source (the scanner or a file), the scanning mode, the media type, and much more. You must press the “Advanced” button from the bottom of the main window to have access to all options.

Moreover, VueScan allows you to set up the output location, the file names, the file format (TIFF, JPEG or PDF) and must more. Noteworthy is that VueScan provides support for the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology and can output editable PDFs.

Athentech has released a new product called Perfectly Clear Essentials. This product contains all of the Tone, Color, and Details controls that can give you perfect exposure, great color, and sharp photos with no noise. All of the preset functionality, as well as Creative LOOKs and Corrective Filters, are also unlocked.

It is virtually identical to Perfectly Clear Complete except in two ways.
It removes controls for all of the Beautify technology. These adjustments are helpful for portrait and wedding photographers, but not really useful to landscape and travel folks.
It removed the batch export module from Lightroom.

While both of the above are useful, they are designed for pros who need the most time-saving options for processing portraits. If you do need portrait adjustments, you can easily add the Kristina Sherk preset packs or a new forthcoming one from Matthew Jordan Smith.

You can also create your own presets and exchange your favorite settings with other users. This is a great deal if you want the time-saving features as well as advanced technology to unlock perfect exposure and sharper images.

Overview

Perfectly Clear Workbench is an application that uses Athentech’s Perfectly Clear image correction libraries and is made available to demonstrate the capabilities of the Perfectly Clear processing libraries, face detection library and to allow a quick export of the processing settings for use.

Supported Image Formats:

Perfectly Clear requires RGB-formatted images in either 8 or 16-bit color depth. Any image file that Photoshop or Lightroom can open and convert to this format may be used in Perfectly Clear. Monochrome and CMYK images must be converted to RGB before using Perfectly Clear. RAW files must be opened through Adobe Camera RAW and loaded into Photoshop to be accessible to Perfectly Clear.
